Minviro and Clear Carbon come together to Advance Science-Based Decarbonisation

Phoebe Whattoff
Minviro and Clear Carbon have formed a strategic partnership to connect lifecycle science with emissions intelligence, creating a shared, science-based foundation for more credible sustainability reporting.
The collaboration brings together two complementary areas of expertise. Minviro, recognised for its ISO-compliant lifecycle assessment and sustainability intelligence, joins forces with Clear Carbon, an Australian provider of emissions management technology. Together, they aim to improve how organisations access, manage, and report sustainability data with greater accuracy and traceability.
At the core of the partnership is the integration of XYCLE by Minviro, the company’s lifecycle assessment software, with Clear Carbon’s intelligent emissions management platform. The platform provides the digital backbone for near-real-time carbon accounting, data automation, and decision support across complex value chains. Within this system, Minviro’s lifecycle models enrich operational data with scientific precision, creating a single, auditable source of truth that harmonises lifecycle and emissions data across multiple disclosure frameworks, including the EU Battery Regulation, IFRS S2, ASRS S2, NGERS, and the GHG Protocol.
By embedding lifecycle science into digital reporting systems, both companies aim to help businesses move beyond data collection towards actionable insight. This collaboration supports organisations in producing transparent, audit-ready disclosures while identifying opportunities for measurable decarbonisation.
“Businesses are looking for confidence in their sustainability data,” said Dr Robert Pell, CEO of Minviro. “This collaboration helps ensure that lifecycle science can be used more broadly to underpin credible, evidence-based reporting.”
“Our collaboration with Minviro brings together two pillars of credible decarbonisation, deep scientific understanding and automation at scale,” said Hemal Modi, CEO of Clear Carbon. “Together, we’re helping companies transform how they manage sustainability performance and build trust through data.”
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to data credibility and accessibility, supporting a more connected and transparent approach to sustainability measurement.
